I use a program call CleanUp. You can download it from http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/ . I use it each time I log off with no issues for me. You be surprised at how much it deletes.

Don't look at porn, it's amazing how you don't need to hide stuff if you don't have it. Anyway though, go to internet options from the tools menu of internet explorer, and clear your history and temporary files.
