Thanks for friends and family and freedom, to celebrate religion as we wish. For all we are grateful and hold most dear. We usually express this to our personal God or in some cases not!
Atheists and agnostics can celebrate just as freely.

we give thanks that we live in a free country, where you can grow up to be anything you want, for the men and women who are not home this holiday because they fight and give thier lives so thier families and countrymen can continue to be free, for all those who died so that we can all sit down together for dinner with our families today, for the courage it took to stand up after the cowards ran planes into the world trade center, for the freedom to worship whatever God we chose, for the right to stand up and say whatever is on our minds without punishment or death, for the God that sustains us,for the roof over our heads, for the food we feed our children, for the knowledge that americans are the strongest, and bravest, and most compassionate nation in the world, even after the cowardly attacks on this country over the years we can still let the cowards countrymen come here and have a chance at a better life, for the pilgrims that were brave enough to leave thir homes and colonize in the new world bringing freedom to thrive and rule our own country, for the native americans that shared thier food with the new strangers who invaded thier land, for the rights gauranteed to us in our constitution, for many things that other countries will never have or understand.even though i dont have a lot of faith in our government right now one principal remains:that all men no matter what color or faith have the God given right to be free....i think thats what most of us are truly thankful for....good day,and happy thanks giving to all americans, and a special greeting for all who have fought for this country or have lost someone they love to this ignorant plague we call war.

I give thanks we are free to think of ways to fix the problems we inherited. We are free to look at the mistakes we have made we are free to fix them. We are free to not judge those who colonized and created and sowed the seeds in every country today where children are starving to death. In the Former British empire In the former french empire. We are free to forgive them for there greedy and sleazy actions that we seem to have been put in charge of fixing. We are free to forgive them for sitting back and being smug assholes about the mess they made. They are free to say what they want because the vegetables there eating grow in soil where Americans shed there blood defending there right to free speech..

Well, Americans, as the word says, are people who were born in America, the continent that includes North, Central and South America.
America was discovered by Christopher Columbus, who explored islands of the Caribean sea, and parts of Mexico.
America was described by Americo Vespuccio, a cartographer who described areas of Brasil. None of them ever set foot on the USA. It were the Cabot brothers who described and explored North America.
Now, if you mean people of USA, as they call themselves Americans, they are people that speak only english ( and they speak rather a dialect ) because they say that they don't need to learn another language, that everyone, even other countries must speak english. They consider a personal insult to tell them to learn another language.
They totally hate immigrants who want to come here, not wanting to remember that their ancestors were immigrants themselves
