im assuming you are asking if tattoos are a form of art, well of course they are, if they were on paper you wouldnt think otherwise so whats the difference if its on skin?
i have many tattoos, infact i have my arms and my back covered, i love them, its art which is their for life and to show except you can wash them and not worry about smudging!
its a personal way to express yourself, at least they were before they became just a fashion statement, then the whole thing got ruined.

Are you referring to the really, really high priced ones that look like paintings from the 1700's? Those are pretty nice, but I dont think most people have a couple thousand spare dollars lying around to use in that way.

Tattoo's can be very very tasteful... I have 4 but they are all small, well designed and in places not openly shown

I love them and will get more :)

and sorry but have to say Paul Booth from NYC is simply the most talented tat artist i have ever seen, you might not like his subject matter but he is a genius with the gun

My wife got one it's called a DOT she chickened out of it, and they never charged her for it
