Weapons (sword) only allows you to reach so many people at one time while words (spoken and even more if these are written) allow you to reach much more people and their future generations.

Take a look at musicians for example. All of their work goes on writting and through this they're able to influence people many decades after their time is done. Examples: Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Doors and so many others.

Most of the people that participate on wars end dead so you only remember these trough those who write about it.

In conclusion, Pen is mightier than sword

As the saying goes: "The pen is mightier than the sword"

The sword can only cut you once, but a pen (when something is written) will last and last. Records can be kept.

The pen is. Many things that are said or written(words in general)
can hurt a person a lot more than a sword.... words of hate can cause a person to take their own lives.... But a pen can also make a person feel better, brighten someone's day or even change their lives

i would rather have a sword for protection, but "the pen is mightier than the sword" because records can be kept and kept until the paper ultimately rots.

pen influences history... sword kills a few... pen allows us to see the action of the sword, so we wont repeat the careless and selfish act of the sword,,,

Either can make nations fall. Whether it be in a massacre or a simple sign of a paper. Either can bankrupt people, in a robbery or signing of a check.

Both are equally dangerous and powerful just depending on the situation.
