Verizon is by far the best when it comes to tower coverage in the U.S. and in customer service. I use T-mobile, and the customoer service is great, but since they are still a relatively new company, the coverage is not so great. But I love them.
As for the phone itself, I'll never use another flip phone again. So many problems. I have the Samsung T-509. It's the best phone I ever owned, but I can't seem to get my downloaded ringtones to work so that they are the ringers. That's the ONLY problem I've had. It's only a 1/4" thick. And it's drop proof.
This is my first phone that's not a motorola. I don't know what I was thinking.
I hate:
Sprint
Cingular
Nextel (too much money)
Metro PCS

I actually have iPhone 4 and that i love it. I went by a gaggle of different (more less costly) phones -- something from "brick phones" to Razr and that i'm surely sticking with a sensible telephone. It comes with the at&t plan, which i'm no longer very keen on, yet there is truly no different option at the moment. Verizon might want to artwork in a huge city even though it too comes with a foul caveat -- your archives connection drops once you get carry of a decision. it really is likewise no longer properly matched with maximum vendors outdoors of the U.S. (So with somewhat of luck contained in the destiny each and every of the cellular organizations will pull up their service thinking how a lot money we pay them each and each month.) I study lots about comparing iPhones and Android-platform phones. i became also waiting to attempt both. My pal surely has the hot Android telephone. or perhaps although the Android CPU and typical hardware looks swifter, it comes with an really undesirable tradeoff -- battery life. He has to charge his telephone quite somewhat 2 circumstances an afternoon for all that "glitter". The digicam on it really is likewise no longer as reliable because the single on my iPhone. So with out going into too many archives, iPhone can do quite somewhat a similar stuff, yet be extra person pleasant, haven't any chance of viruses or unchecked 3-rd get mutually apps (that contain an open source platform like Android), and performance a ton of alternatives of shown/secure apps contained in the app save. the purely turn away of having an iPhone is that Apple is truly restrictive about human being content, or something else they could deem inappropriate. that's like having a "huge brother" inform you what to placed on your smart telephone. that doesn't truly believe me. (And that's no longer that i'd placed porn on my cellular telephone, that's purely the actual incontrovertible actuality that someone tells you that you won't be able to.) Steve Jobs also doesn't like Flash so any internet web site that makes use of undeniable Flash gained't artwork. although substantial ones like YouTube and Vimeo, and so on, use HTM5 or truly good app to play purely high quality. Cheers.

I've got a moterola. I've always had them and they keep the same general menu buttons. Moterola cell phones and LG i think get the best reception and battery life. I have service through verison and they are pretty much every where you want to be.
