Now im not trying to be cruel and believe that people are beautiful in their own way but at the same time i'm being very contradictory to my beliefs.
since i came to university i have only EVER seen 2 good looking guys in the whole of my 3 year course.
I mean was i just unfortunate to choose an all ugly man university or are guys these days just keep getting VERY UGLY?
At 1st i thought it was me but i asked ALOT of girls at my uni and they all had the same thoughts as me, so it couldnt just be me with high expectations on body image could it?
Guys why cant you try harder to look nice??

Im not a shallow person because i do have 2 ugly friends if i was shallow then i would have kicked them to the curb a long time a go!! hehe
By the way, not to hoot my own horn but i am a cat walk model and do clothes magazines as well, so there is no need for insults!!
Im not attacking anyone personally im just giving my opinons, if you cant take it then how can you be on a decussion website??

Well i have obviously hit a nerve with a lot of people im guessing its because YOUR the ugly ones otherwise why would you be soo angry??
Are you actaully telling me that every single person you meet you think that they are beautiful, im sure that isnt true one bit!!
Im pretty sure that everyone has looked at someone at leaset once and thought
'There wasnt a god if there were how is it possible for someone to look like that', now dont lie you have thought that.
But this question isnt to attack genetically ugly looking people, what im refering to is personal appearance guys just let them selves go!!

At first I thought you were being highly shallow and all.. but after reading your explaination, I understand what you're saying.
Men usually do not feel as pressured to be good looking. Women have to do so many more things just to stay with the social norm (ie shaving legs and armpit hair)... then they must do even more to actually be considered beautiful.
Guys can have acne, and they will not even care about. Girls on the other hand, will do anything they possibly can to coverup or get rid of that one insy pimple.
It's really all a doublestandard as far as beauty goes. Men just do not feel as compelled as women to achieve "beauty"

I think the concept of beauty is distorted now with all the cosmetics/surgery/products etc available. Basically a pretty damn plain girl can primp herself up with a good hair cut and makeup and look really attractive - which is a good thing, don't get me wrong. But for guys it's not seen as very manly to pursue beauty like girls do; sure, they are increasingly buying tinted moisturisers etc, but in general terms girls groom more than guys which gives us an unfair advantage. That's just my opinion though, I'd be interested to know if people agree. x

I understand what you're saying but people make themeselves who they are because that is who they are. No-one is ugly, everyone is beautiful in their own unique way and that is what makes them attractive to others. Alot of people like yourself judge people by their appearance and that's ok but beneath their skin is a very beautiful person ready to flourish. If everyone in the world made judgements about people's appearance it would eventually take control and the individual will feel no self-worth. Love yourself and others for who they are, after all we only have one life, and i only have one thing left to say, live it like no other.

female, i relate to you a hundred%. i became in the comparable place as you the place 2 years in the past. Eventhough attractiveness isnt each and every thing, and its what on the interior that counts. i desperate to alter the way i appeared because of the fact i assumed i became somewhat gruesome too. in case you dont like the style you look, cope with it. in case you have zits like i did, use products that get rid of zits. in case you have a huge nostril, use makeup contouring to make it smaller or get rhinoplasty once you're older than 18, once you're obese, drop some weight via eating good and doing exercising. makeup facilitates plenty, as in making your eyes and lips extra effective than they are easily. Why do you prefer to look white, if being diverse makes you stand out and unique. the main beautiful women folk in the worldwide are no longer white, they're worldwide extensive, like brazil, albania, africa, etc.

Why are there so many ugly people,hhhmm ok, well i think i have the answer to your question.
1 your opinion of uglyness may be due to the fact that if you were single and looking for a date,there's not too many people you like the look of, therefore deem then to be ugly. or they maybe poor broke students and can't afford to look good,ie shave,wear some nice clothes,haircut etc.
I base my facts on a similar experience when i went to uni and found that it wasn't due to them being ugly, they rather spend there grants on beer and fags then makeup etc

What is ugly to one person, is very attractive to another.
Most people think Brad Pitt is handsome but i can't see that at all. In my eyes, the most good looking guy on television is Andrew Castle on GMTV but I am the only person I know who thinks this.
Certain characteristics attracts. We normally go for people on our own attractiveness level.

Your capitalised VERY UGLY doesn't stand for anything. Ugliness is a subjective opinion, not an objective truth.

Genesis 1:26, and God said let's make man in our own image after our own likeness, if u ever see any one as being ugly u're simply making a mockery of their creator, cos he made all things beautiful in his time. maybe u simply want more 4rm those guys but they seems not to notice you, put more effort in your looks and apply lighter make ups who knows, it may work this time and you will be singing a new song in their alms.
