u should eat something light, not too much of it, but it should have alot of protein, u should be drinking more fluids b4 the game, and especially during and after, water of course is best, but sport drinks are great also gatorade/powerade etc..

fruits and bread, you should eat a lot of carbs the day before a basketball game, its called carb loading and will help a lot, eat a hearty meal, no junk about 2 1/2 3 hours before a game and drink water gatorade . . the whole time in between , you should drink 2-3 bottlles of liquids before you get out there

Not much...don't make it a large meal but you can eat something healthy and light. Gatorade and other energy drinks aren't for before the game or during the game its for after to restore your energy and sugar. (so drink water) =)

I usually have spaghetti each night before a game. but try to eat something light before a game but not right before a game make sure you have some time to digest. Bananas have a lot of potassium, and I also heard that it can help reduce the risk of getting cramps.

Bananas, and a lot so you won't get cramps. And NEVER ever drink anything exept water. But you can drink it after.

i dont eat b4 a game because it makes my stomach hurt and our coach has us drink water or powerade and no cokes
