i mean, do you really think not giving your daughter vegatables will keep her from remembering "itsy bitsy spider"? does this ad campaign actually make anyone stop doing drugs, or make parents start feeding their kids a balanced meal.

Sadly, the response to such ads seems to have been fairly low.

However, at least someone is trying. And thats a good thing. Although I would agree that they need to continue to develop their programs and process.

My take on it is, if even a few lives are saved or improved - I'll endure the annoyances that some of the commericals offer up. Even if the messages don't mean much to you or me - they mean something to someone and maybe after the 50th viewing, that person might take steps to save or help someone.

the PSA my not stop anyone itself from doing something bad but i remember as a child the "do you know where your kids are" ad and it made my parents a little more tight with me staying out later then i really should have at a specific age , I'm sure that ad made parents keep an on eye on there children a little more and may have kept some kids from getting in trouble or worse, as for other ones some are odd and i think there just reminders to talk to our kids / so i think they are necessary there are some stupid people in the world that have children i knew a young couple that gave soda to there year and a half old son and candy and junk just cause he wanted it and they were not poor he made 60k a year in construction at age 23 , my daughter is 5 and has never had soda .
