i love martina cole books and mandasue heller, does anyone know any books that write like these two? and does anyone know any book sites where you can get cheap books off the internet. not ebay. thank you

Try James Paterson. Look on the Waterstones site, they have often got the same offers on there as they have in store. At the moment 3 for 2 on certain authors/ranges

I love Martina Cole Have all her books. try James patterson I find his books riveting but you must read his in sequance as he does very clever follow ons have you tried WORLD BOOKS THEY DO CHEAP BOOKS ON THE INTERNET ITS A BOOK CLUB

I love Edward Rutherford (historical fiction).
Joanna Trolloppe is a good trashy vacation read.
amazon.com has an option to buy used books when you search for a specific title. try that!

Have you read the works of the celebrated reclusive American writer and poet, Linda J Cirillo?
Well, I think her stuff has more resonant and creative ideas for these modern times.

anne tyler and roald dahl are my two favourites.
roald dahl wrote adult books as well as his childrens ones (which I still love now). One of my favourite books by him is called 'My uncle oswald' and is about sex and famous painters, authors and kings.
Anne Tyler mostly just writes about life in Baltimore, there is something about her characters that just makes them so readable.

i'm not familiar with those authors...but i can tell you who i like!! jodi picoult, r.a.salvatore, s.l. viehl, john scalzi, anne rice, and many more...i usually buy books used from amazon.com, they come pretty cheap.
