They don't! At all!
There were some theories about body part configuration determines the personality of the human(the most "serious" one was about the person's head and there was even a big claw-like tool to measure the human's head to determine is he psychotic, or hysteric, or something like that), but none are taken seriously nowadays.
It's like saying blue eyed people are better at playing curling. People develop through their lives independently from their fingers' length. Yeah, there might be some cases in which disorders of the fingers can cause psy disorders, but that would be rare, I suppose.
Everything depends on what you do and see, not when your fingers decide to stop growing :)

Keep in mind the fact I am telling you.
This is universal truth.

Everything in the world determines (affects) every other thing in the world.
Everything can be know by knowing any other thing of the world.

You will not ask such a question.. It is not only fingure but even hairs, nails, shadow, thumbs, forehead and dear even your fingre ring or hanky can tell a lot about you.

OMG I hope long fingers are ok because my bf has them and I don't want to have to lose him.
