Depends on the individuals. I believe that America is the best country in the world but some Americans are not worth the space they take up.

Originally yes... they dared the rest of the world to say that people have the right to self determination. Since then, we have weakened and believe that the government should provide more for us. (some of us... not all)
It was not a belief that we were entitled to more than others, it was the system that allowed each to achieve to the level of their capabilities that allowed Americans to have more. They were not held back by oppressive governments.
The people of the old Western Germany experienced this first hand when the wall came down. The oppressed people of the east had nothing compared to the west. The eastern oppressive government was the reason for the east to have not achieved more!!

i think some Americans believe they are inherently superior to other people.... ie- manifest destiny..... thus they deserve a better life..... but i would say that not all Americans feel this way.....
we,Americans, are just spoiled and don't understand/realize how the rest of the world lives...... all Americans would benefit from visiting and living in a third world country for 6 months.... it would build character, respect, and perspective!!!!!

That's crazy! I believe that Americans think they are superior and maybe that's why the majority of people I meet seem to not care about the rest of the world.

Americans are the primary pathogen of the World! They are obese, ignorant, extremely biased (redneck), arrogant, drug crazed, and lazy! They are inferior and need to be treated like predatory capitalistic rats and exterminated! Especially the Lawyers!!

what makes you better than anyone else? Every country has its polical problems, USA included. There are a lot of countries in this world that any individual would be better off living than in the USA.

What do you mean by Americans.. the only Americans I know are the native Americans! and they are very humble.
