Everybody is equal. Some people however lack humility and may view themselves as superior. I call it the slave owner mentality. The same lack of humility that could enable someone to own a slave is present with many people. It is sick and it is scary. Oh and totally arbitrary.

First, you must know on what scale you are measuring them, and then you can figure out where they are on that scale relative to yourself.

Of course, all such scales isolate one aspect of who a person is, and ignore those elements which might show a very different picture. For example, a person may have wonderful musical or artistic talent, but be a heavy-handed seducer or even a rapist. A guy who has lots of money and therefore economically superior may have limited intelligence or lousy moral judgment. A guy who looks like a movie star may not behave like the angel he might seem to be. (Then there's Johnny Depp. He's obviously perfect. LOL)

I prefer to avoid such comparisons altogether, lest I make a total fool of myself. Good manners dictate you treat everyone as an equal, and that's a good enough assumption to make, anyway. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I will assume anyone has the same basic decent humanity and same possibility of screwing up that I have.

I have a larger than average IQ, so it is not realistic to make the "equality" assumption in that area, although I do not let on I feel this way, which would be rude. I weigh a good bit more than average, so equality is clearly not there. Also, my economic condition would mark almost everyone I meet as superior to myself, except perhaps the guy who lugs everything he owns on and off the bus because he has no home.

Equality, as a philosophical position, says we all have souls, those souls are not easily measured or evaluated, and therefore we are equal in "god's eyes," if you will. If you don't believe in a god who would talk that way, or if you don't believe in any god, then take it as an abstraction, a metaphor. It still works.

To determine is someone is inferior or superior first you need a measure of what is an average ability. For example if you want to find strength .... take 100 people find out how much each can lift, take the average ... that will be your base. Then if you want to find out if someone is inferior or superior .... have that person lift as much weight as they can .... then measure that number compaired to the base. If they lift more than the base number ... they are superior .... if they lift less than the base .... inferior.

I don't believe there are inferior\superior people. I think we all have different strengths and weaknesses. I further believe that God's plan is for us to help each other which is why we all have different strengths and weaknesses.

There is no one so elevated above the rest of humanity that they cannot learn something from someone else. To think that there is no one who can teach them anything is the height self-delusionment.

Superior to what or whom? No one is superior if you're asking in general.

WATCH THE EYES! The eyes tell allot. Eyes not paying attention. Shifting from side to side or looking up or down or past the other person. You can almost feel a person who is looking into your eyes. You can even tell if the person is sincere or not by the way he/she looks into your eyes. Notwithstanding a bad habit or physical disorder, blinking can also indicate something to someone. You cannot judge solely on one indication of the eye. You have to look at all the actions of the eye.

Let's try to keep it simple.

You have to know your strengths and weaknesses.

Compensate for your weakness by showing good character instead of brute force "excellence. If you're not a genius, surround yourself with those who are and get along with them. They will help you, and most will appreciate you respect them.

Don't abuse your strengths. They are gifts. Help others who don't have them, and use them to keep yourself out of trouble spots in life.
