Hi! Worry not - these are all symptoms of premenstrual syndrome - but that does not make them normal as others have said. It is not normal to suffer symptoms just because you are a woman having periods! Something is out of balance & this can be successfully treated - drug free - by a number of therapies. I am a regisitered Homoeopath & treat lots of this very successfully. Many women decide to take the oral contraceptive pill but I do not believe this is the answer - to take a foreign substance every day of your life & interfere with your bodys normal functioning - madness!! Contact The Society of Homeopaths to find a practitioner in your area who will be able to help you. Best wishes

Yes but you don't have to put up with it. Your diet affects pms. I don't know how old you are but there's a good book you can read called "The Change Before the Change : Everything You Need to Know to Stay Healthy in the Decade Before Menopause"
This covers the topic of healthy dieting so that your hormones stay normal. You will learn the important role that progesterone plays for women of all ages. I hope this helps you.

Yes, this is all normal. Cramps, tender, sore breasts, back ache etc are all symptoms of the period.
hot water bottles, painkillers, and herbal remedies help.

I actually thought it was the lining of your womb getting ready to shed (which is eventually what u pass during menstruation). I cant see how it is hormones when they are a chemical in your body.
