Today is Thanksgiving in America.
Can we please toss our Democrat and Republican hats aside, and come together for the holidays as one nation instead of two divided sectors of this great nation?
Can we please list all the things we are thankful for today?

I am so very thankful that I was lucky enough to be born in the United States, a country that I love. For my husband of almost 38 years, my children, who are wonderful, and for the great friends that keep everyday interesting! I don't want to limit this to just today though, I am Thankful for everyday the Lord allows me to wake up here before taking me home! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am thankful that most all politicians are OLD and will die soon and then we can get more.
I am thankful for home made real sausage with which to stuff my wild turkey that we shot dead.
I am thankful for hot weather and it is cold here today.
I would be thankful to be living somewhere warm by this time next year
I am thankful for NYC - the greatest place on Earth and Perhaps in the whole Universe.
I am thankful that this list could continue forever - BUT - bye for now

So today is the ONE day you're willing to do that?
I'm personally thankful for my husband. I'd be lost without him (literally, I'm horrible with directions), and he has given me so much love. I'm also thankful to have family and friends who care deeply for me and have been here for me now in my time of need. I'm very thankful for everything God has blessed me with (see above) and for being my strength through troubling times. And pumpkin pie. And McDreamy. And music.

I am thankful to God because he didn't do much and allow an Idiot to become the US President
I am proud of Mr. President because each time I look at him I am certain that there is one person in the United State who I can claim to be smarter than.
I am thankful to Cheney for stealing the food and gas from the poor Americans so they had less to eat this Thanksgiving holiday.
I am Thankful to Senator Frist for making the Health Care system in the United State so expensive that there are a lot of people dying this Thanksgiving because they don't have health care.
I am thankful to the Scowcroft Group for sending Rice into the White House so they could make more $$
I will wave my US flag (with just one star) today and make sure that it was made in China.

oohh. i was gonna list all the stuff i was grateful for the democrats screwing up, but after i read your details, i guess i can't do that. i'm genuinly grateful for the democracy, freedom of religion (as long as it lasts, anyway) and i'm thankful to our troops for defending this great nation, keeping us safe, and fighting for peace!
