Your subconscious self wants to explore new realities and in order to do so you need to be open to walking through doors.

The man in white represents your personal truth to wisdom and one can only gain wisdom by experience not age. New Doors open to us every day however, we can be confused, feel misdirected or a bit lost, so we sometimes miss these opportunities.

I feel your dream is trying to awaken you to higher potentials awaiting you through gaining new insight from new experience. The waving of the index finger is saying to follow, yet you fear doing this, fearing the new or the unknown (not seeing what is past the doorway behind him) so you subconsciously are unable to move. This is causing discomfort as you do truly desire to experience and do not consciously believe you fear change.

Change may be on its way to you, and this dream is trying to open your eyes to 'experience the new with out fear' and embrace that which awaits only the wise whom know no fear. Your confusion will alleviate itself if before going to sleep you call on Archangel Michael to give you courage and the strength you need to walk through that door. Even if you do not remember doing it in your dream later....you will know you did when new potentials for you start presenting themselves. Then you have yourself to thank. ;)

Blessings be yours in peace & light & laughter!

Someone you are both eager to follow and afraid to follow. Could represent Jesus as a magician, or some other magician. White hair and beard (which is what I suppose you meant) would indicate an older man, such as Gandalf, Dumbledore or Merlin. An old man in a dream is either a father figure or a magical figure. This one does not behave much like a father figure, although perhaps your relationship to your own father would suggest that it is he in this case.

White = desire
can't get out of bed = out of control

You are tempted by your desire and you are struggling because somehow you know it is not right. This man could be a symbol of bad fluence. You are often tempted to get there. However, deep down, you rejected to do it because you know it is not morally correct. There may be something in your life that you have been wanting to do but puzzle to do due to its morality.
