Yes - Greek. They use Ohi (sounds a bit like OK) for no, and to confuse English speakers further, their "yes" sounds like English "nay".

I've an idea that they shake their heads for "yes", and nod for "no", too, but I may be wrong on that.

in Turkce ( Turkish ) one says < yok > ( no ) or < istemiyorum > ( I do not want / wish ).

interestingly, when most people say < no > they shake their head : amongst turks ( and they are a huge group, eg mongols, turkmenistanis, turkistanis, & turks from modern Turkey ) they usually raise their head, from the < I'm looking at you, kid > position, to the < can you hear me, you at the back ? >

sudanese / arabic....no is la. Yes is iawa (spelling cant remember)....manderine Bo is no..... she is yes (well one version of yes)
