Roger Federer is leading 21-3 (wins) against Andy Roddick. ...Roddick beat him 1st time in the Semi-Finals of the ATP Masters Series Canada with score: 6-4 3-6 7-6 (3). All their matches can be seen on the photo below...

Sooner or later Roddick will serve out of his mind or Federer will be in a too-busy part of his schedule. Many commentators have disliked the placement of Masters events in consecutive weeks, and we saw the effect when Federer lost to Murray in Cincinnati, his only loss to anyone other than Nadal this year.

Federer seems to have learned a lot from the one loss to Roddick, which I saw on television. It was after Federer won Wimbledon, and was his first opportunity to be ranked #1 if he won the match. Federer started poorly, turned it around to win the second set, and then was up a break in the third before getting nervous and losing.

Yes if he concentrates on putting his power shots in the right place..but federer can get to every ball and is consistent.

I think he will, obviously it is just me hoping, the numbers certainly look like Federer will win. 8 of 9 , I did not know it was that bad. I think Roddick will beat him in a major this year. I wish he had gotten that win at the masters, he had it on his racket.

I have NOTHING against either player, but when Federer beat Agassi...he was so bloomin' cocky! He acts like he's God. When someone knocks down his totem pole, tennis will be back to normal and maybe he'll get off his "I'm the best, can't touch this!" kick.
