The Presidency is reserved for rich white males who are members of the power elite and who have sold their soul to the devil or in many cases, big oil or big business, not that there's much of a difference. Yes, it was originally designed so that anyone could run and every election there are countless numbers of candidates running for President. Unfortunately, its only the Repubs, Dems, and maybe one or two others who get recognized as serious contenders. Its become a game for the rich - not the common, ordinary person. If you plan on running, you need to make sure you're rich - that will be the first step. Then, take it from there.

For one you don't even have the guts to even show your face on answers and everyone knows that first impressions are the most important! I see in the future very bad things happening to this country because of greed and oppression of freedom but not in the way many people think! I love my children but sometimes wish I had never brought them into the world of pride and greed! I see people who are so scared of being exposed as being ignorant that they will do just about anything to cover it up! Are you one of them or are you humble? Oh by the way I agree with you on big business but your fighting something more powerful than man!

Wow oh boy oh boy what a platform. You think you are the first person to ever think this?
Our forefathers didn't know about the power of television. I think it costs around $30 million to run for President not including advertising.

Anyone can run for President (if they meet the criteria in the Constitution). The real key is to market yourself to the American people. Good luck with that!

You don't need to be rich, just have people backing you that have money! Being well spoken and charamatic helps as well.
