One big happy country, Canada has a lot they could teach us, Do you think they'd be up for it?

I say let's have a united North America. Canada, US and Mexico. We have great natural resources to the north, a great labor pool to the south, and if we could just make friends, we'd be the strongest nation in the world.

Unfortunately, I have heard that Canadians are not so much proud of being from Canada, as proud of NOT being from the States. So perhaps it would not be easy. Certainly there are Americans with real hostility to Mexico, or The Wall would not have been proposed.

And as for that wall, I consider it an abomination.

LMAO. Ha Ha Ha.....You wish. Let's see....
Canada is bigger than the US geographically but has about one tenth of the population. It's rumored oil sand reserves rival the Saudi's and they export clean hydro energy.
Hmm.. What else? They have timber, gold, plus a few other things that really makes them 110% self sufficient whether it be food, energy, natural resources or raw materials.
What could they possibly want from the US?
Besides, they are having issues in just keeping itself together. The eastern provinces don't even like speaking english, let alone an invasion of hispanics with another foreign tongue.
Ha ha ha....sorry, just can't stop laughing.

For sure. I love going to Canada to visit my relatives in Toronto. I've seen people there being nice to each other regardless of race or religion. Canada would be up for it. There would be no border. We would have two thanksgivings(they have thanksgiving day on our columbus day while we have our own on last thursday of the month. We share many same holidays such as Halloween. We would have more holidays such as Forth of July and Canada Day.

It would be cool to see two countries becoming two sections of one powerful and beautiful country.

ooh that is a scary thought, bad enough living above them. makes me wonder though:
if we did join with the usa, would Americans be able to find us on a map then?
do Americans think that as soon as they joined Canada, the states would suddenly turn colder?
would Canadians have to start hating minorities?
would Americans think that Canadians would want to replace there igloos with wooden houses?
would Canadians have to drill holes in our head and suck out half our brains?
would Americans have to finish high school and stop sleeping with their cousins?
there is just too much to think about!!

Hmm... maybe we should just keep it as two very close allies instead. Neither side would be too happy about a United States of Canerica.

Well, we do trade with them more than anyone else. I think we have the best of both worlds right now. I just wish it was easier for us to cross each other's border.
