make them give you a definite date and make them stick to it. if they don't send them a letter and tell them that if you have not received you money within 21 days you will file a claim with the local county courts small claims department. you will need to pay a fee for this service but you can put that on top of any money you ask for. you can also claim for phone calls and any other correspondence that you have made as long as you have all the details and can prove costs, like a telephone bill. You will need to provide the courts with all the details of the problem and any correspondence you have sent to them or received from them and a decision would the be made by the courts on who is in the right and what money will be paid to who. they then have to stick to this court order and if you do not get your money by the time the courts give them you can re take them to court and re claim the cost of this court action and the previous money. At this point the courts may give you the money and the company will have to pay the courts back like if a court says you have to pay a £200.00 fine and costs of £100.00. Then you just sit back and relax as you will have your money back if the courts rule in you favour. If they then don't pay the courts it is up to them but i would not like the prison term that you can face for that up to 28 days depending on the amount you owe.

Well, I didn't see any time frame on the return of money, but did find this in the terms and conditions about your best recourse for fighting them....

Basically take the time and paperwork and contact the company that you have alerted it with and Threaten them with legal action if you try and get no for an answer they will have a log of the information and ask directly to speak with a manager and address the subject with them it should be covered pretty easy if you can discuss it with them but be rational don't raise a hell and riot act its annoying I know personally just express how angry you are if you start shouting you won't get anywhere with them as they will just claim allsorts.....
Just threaten them with legal action if you haven't got your money back by a set date the isp you have tried to contact should have procedures and acts and if it has breached their customer service acts as a provider then you have been done well done but contact them and express your anger and legal advise but don't shout and swear it ain't gonna get you anywhere..

I find a useful way of getting attention from a firm is to send a hundred copies of a fax to them stating your case. A bit of a *** with an ordinary fax but easy if you have a fax driver on your computer. If you do this at night, you use up all their paper which tends to overflow from the machine and scatter about the floor and if you can make it dark enough, it uses up the toner as well and of course the fax won't work after that till they replace the paper. I can assure you it gets their attention.

What you probably need to do is see if you can have a little free consultation or a cheap one with a solicitor and see if you can actually charge them for causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.
I expect you're devastated by these proceedings you poor thing. The threat of compensation via a solicitors letter might just work! They might charge you tho (bummer) but do you have a friend of a friend who knows one?

Write them a letter giving them 7 days to pay your money back, They must respond to this request by law.
Go to your Citizens Advice call in centre, they have solicitors etc, who will give you advice on how to word your letter and what to do if you don't receive immediate satisfaction.
See you Local MP, they are only too glad to help in situations like this.
Your local police station will have someone there who can give you good advise too, Don't just sit back and let them play you on a string.
Good Luck

I went through a similar experience my self once. I ordered a shirt from L.L. Bean but it wasn't the same color in real life as it was on the magazine. I returned it and they said I'd have my money back in three weeks. Two months later I got my money back. Be patient. I Know how you feel, I wanted to take them to court my self.

£99?
sounds rather steep
find out the head office address and get a solicitor to right to them
better still phone them up and ask why your getting pushed around and threaten to take all your evidence to the news papers
i don't think they will like to be named and shamed do you

You will have to speak to management and if they don't take action you'll just have to go there and see them or otherwise forward all your receipts/telephone conversations/cancellation letters etc to Working Lunch on TV, I had issues similar issues to another with HSBC this person took HSBC to Working Lunch News my issues and theirs all gone!
