if you are just visiting Madurai go to koiambadu bus stand and catch and enjoy.but if you are a tourist want to visit contact tamilnadu tourism development corporation ttdc.the will take u a conducted tour with accomodation food etc.check their web for further details

But the best way to travel would be in trains... there are many trains and its easier too.... they are best in deals too...
Try to go by trains... faster, economical and easier way as the RAILWAYS say.......
