My uncle Chris does not have a computer, but he has an iPod. He tried to use my aunt Laurie's computer to get some songs, but it automatically synchronized with his iPod, and spent a few hours getting it back to normal. Now he wants my help. How can I put only select songs onto his iPod without iTunes synchronizing his iPod with my library?

Check off the ones you want, uncheck the ones you don't want.

Use playlists. You can then use the option of only putting selected playlists onto the iPod when it synchs, instead of the whole iTunes library.

This works very well for me and my husband, we have seperate iPods and tailor the playlists to each of our liking.
