American Baseball plays the World Series, I never heard the Football League being called The World Series

American Football is not called a "World Series" when the final two teams left play for the championship. It is called the Super bowl. The World Series refers to American Baseball.

American Football has the Super Bowl, BASEBALL has the World Series and it has been called that for over 100 years.NFL Europe has the World Bowl and that is solely played in Europe. What about the Cricket World Cup when that is only played by very few teams?

Amazing question for all the wrong reasons. American football is NOT called the World Series, that's a baseball term not a football term. The NFL championship game is called the Super Bowl. And of course, American football is played primarily in the USA. Just like Australian football is played primarily in Australia.
I don't understand why this is so hard to understand.

The world series is the championship game for baseball. for american football it is the superbowl. although the NFL is mainly americans, there are serveral from outside america such as those from Mexico, Holland, Germany, England and theres a Scot who plays for Kansas City. There used to be two teams in the UK, London Monarchs and Scottish Claymores, who played in the second biggest american football like in the world, NFL Europe. There are also several professional teams in the UK and there is even a college/university league. hope this answers the question.

Number one, the "World Series" is baseball and not football.
All Americans know this. Most of the best baseball players in the world (they come from all over the world to play in the big leagues, you know) play in the United States, so "World Series" is not inaccurate.
If we want to say the Superbowl is the world championship for pro football, only a fool would say we were wrong.
Go ahead and get 22 guys from the rest of the world to play
the Chicago Bears, or the Indianapolis Colts, or even the Houston Texans for that matter.

absolutely love when people "hate americans" yet know nothing about them. you appear to not like the "world champion" title that people assume or the "world series" title given to the MLB championship.
well, here goes..........people from all over the world play in the NFL and MLB. If you have the talent, then you're welcome to come play. the football champion is call world champs because they are world champs are their sport - there are other American football leagues but the NFL is the top level, by far.
as for the baseball, MLB is the top again, second is the Japanese league - which is why aging MLB veterans often go to japan to play and Japanese stars commonly come to MLB - google the "Yankees" lol.
I proposed a counter-questions - why is it so many people outside of the US have a problem with so many aspects of the US before they even learn what they are talking about?

It is the Baseball league, which is called the World Series not the American Football league. American Football league is called NFL.
