First find yourself a good flat grassy field to practice in it should be hard packed. Get up speed in straight line to about 30 MPH, have car in second gear. Now cut you wheel in direction you wish to go, when rear of car breaks loose and starts to slide cut wheels in opasite direction and stand on the gas, you can control amount of slide or drift with stearing and gas. In racing we call this power sliding through the turns. If you don't know how to do this it can flip a car before you can blink. It is also very hard on all parts of the car. This is very dangerous, and you must have nerves of steel. It only takes you 1/10th of a second to dye in a 60 MPH car crash. So be carefull and start of slow.

Visit Bob Bonderaunt's Web site. Rear wheel drive cars like my 400 Hp GTO manual transmission really powerslide well. Powerslide was what us oldtimers called drifting before there was television coverage. Basicaly over throttle spin the rear tires till they smoke maintain momentium and dial in counter steer to slide sideways. Pracitce and razor fast reflexes are necessary. Try a spin out first then get the feel of your car sliding all inner ear stuff. Be far away from light poles parking lot stops curbs. First ice storm allows you to get a feel of car sliding and correct car control. Wet large parking lots are training grounds, until you get chased away by security. Expect to burn thru rear tires very fast.$$$$
