hey how about that, another dell question. I had the same problem with two newly purchased dell computers I worked on. Both of them were less than a year old. Install your installation disk and go through the options to install a fresh copy of windows. Make sure, that once you installed it, that you update your computer by going to start-->update windows and also install your antivirus and update that as well.
