Listen. See the lines before:

"I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style".

So it's got to be listen. Why would she want to suddenly "live in sin for a while" just because he's sang a good song?

Dude.... LIMEWIRE F-ing SUCKS. Dont mess with them or Kazaa or the entire Gnutella network. Its packed full of spyware and tracking programs. Im not paranoid, I just know this for a fact because I got busted for copyright infringement and piracy a few years ago from using them for P2P connections. Also, make sure you check all the hidden files those programs leave behind. When you download using them it places multiple copies of the files into other folders you dont know about. Thats how it got me. Just thought you shold know.

"...and so i came to see him and listen for a while"

chorus: strummin my pain with his fingers
Singin my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song

I heard he sang a good song,
I heard he had a style,
And so i came to see him and listen for a while
And there he was this young boy
Stranger to my eyes

chorus:

I felt all flushed with fever
Embarrased by the crowd,
I felt he found my letters and read each one out loud,
I pray that he would finish
But he just kept right on

chorus

Listen.

"And so I came to see him and listen for a while
And there he was this young boy, stranger to my eyes
Strumming my pain with his fingers"

Enjoy, good song.

It's probably 'listen' because 'live sin' isn't even remotely correct English.

Its listen....and the "he" in question is the 70s singer/songwriter Don McLean (who did "American Pie" & "Vincent"). First a hit for Roberta Flack when Don was at his most popular.
