Blue is calming. Yellow, green, and red entice hunger. And white says that you couldn't come up with an actual color.

I think they affect the way you feel and act, while certain colors make you feel welcome, others wont, while some colors make you feel calm other will get you sort of "hyper".
When you wear certain colors they make you feel like the stuff you associate it them with, for instance if you think black is just for funerals then whenever you wear black you wont feel as good as if you wore a light blue shirt or something. Or in buildings, bright colors on the walls might affect you after a while because they sort of "overwhelm" you after a while, certain colors have a depressive state on people, like that green that hospitals have on the walls, they're supposed to be soothing but once you associate it to hospital it's just depressive. White usually makes you think of neat spaces and calm, but if it's not blended with a little color touches in the room it can be VERY BORING.

I think color has a great effect. I have pink, green and blue in my house, all soothing colors. I wear whatever color I am in the mood to wear, there is a different mood for each color.

Purple-Spiritual and regal
Pink-loving and optimistic
Yellow-joyful
Green-intent but relaxed
Blue-talkative and compassionate
Red-passionate and earthy
Orange-creative and curious
Turquoise-peak experiences
