How can a turncoat be trusted when in office he almost single handedly destroyed the NDP party in Ontario. Liberals, what are you thinking? Do you want to see a majority Conservative government?

It just shows how far left the Lieberals have gone. Frankly, I hope Rae wins as it would greatly assist in keeping a Conservative government in place.

I am not a Bob Rae lover, never was.....remember when he cut salaries (my dad worked for the TTC) it was meant for the short term and they were going to have the pay cut fixed. NEVER happened. I have a hard time understanding how anyone can wake up one morning and decide their life long beliefs and ideologies are changing. I certainly hope Ignatieff can pull it off (not that he is my first choice) Would have been nice to see some young blood like Kennedy or Brison have more support. The Liberal party needs some new blood badly. I may not like Stephen Harper or his party and most of its views, but I will give the man kudos where deserved. No other country would stand up to China at APEC, and he has come through on a lot of his promises.

He's a sacrificial lamb. The Liberals know they are probably going to lose the next election, so the good candidates decided to stay out of it, lest they be labled as losers. After Rae or Iggy take the fall, serious people like Frank Mckenna will get back in the game.
