I started out with 4 guppys like 3 weeks ago now im left with one.

The first one looked completly healthy one day then was dead the next

The second one was completly healthy then one day had like a cut on her stomach someone said she might have swollowed gravel then she died two days later

The third one died today he never looked that healthy a few days after I got him his tail got ripped up fromt he females fighting over him so I had seperated him for a few days until he started to look better but he usually stayed near the top in a corner then yesterday he just kept his head floating with like his lip at the top and his tail would float down then the female would come over and nudge him and he would just kinda swim once around the tank then go back. I walked in this morning and hes dead.

What is happening with all my fish? I clean the tank the water stays fine as far as like the ph levels and everything what should I do?

When I said ph and everything that includes nitrate and the other stuff you get in a basic test kit

And I have gotten fish from this store before that have lived for a while

And the first one was young just big enough so the others wouldnt eat it
So i know its not old age at least for that one

Possibly stress in a new environment?

Was it a new tank? Maybe your ammonia levels got too high. Keep doing water changes and use the chlorine remover that most fish stores have - just ask them for it. I use "stress coat" - about $10 for a 16 oz bottle, removes all the bad stuff from tap water. Sorry about the deaths.

From my experience with fish, they are difficult to maintain in some instances. Sometimes when you buy fish, they may be infected with a condition known as "ICK". No joke, honestly. The way you can tell, is they have some whitish looking spots on their bodies and this is some type of fungus. There is a remedy. Go back to the fish store and get a bottle of "ICK" conditioner. It requires you to put a few drops of this medicine in thier tank. However, this is only a fix for Ick. I am sure that there are alot of other reasons fish die. But from my experience alot of my fish were always infected with this condition. So always when I introduced new fish to my tank, I always treated them with the "Ick" treatment. Good luck!

i can not fathom the cruelty of lots of people who've replied this question. who's to make certain if the existence of the fish is way less effectual than the existence of human beings? do no longer they the two have souls? do no longer they the two go through and experience soreness? I easily understand that an animal could nicely be your ultimate chum--which you will choose animals to human beings. Who might blame you? i in my view favored animals to human beings ever in view that i became a newborn. i will by no ability forget the soreness I felt as quickly as I lost my pets who saved me organization in my lonesomeness and have been dependable to me--in comparison to maximum folk. purely remember that each and every thing happens for a reason. Your fish died for a reason; if it lived it would have probably been plenty worse. There somewhat isn't plenty to assert, inspite of the undeniable fact that it is common to experience unhappy. enable your self to grieve. Bury your fish and say see you later on your chum. it rather is unhappy that normally all what we've left of what/who we like is strategies, yet this is something good so carry directly to them. i'm somewhat sorry on your loss. you will consistently remember your chum, yet remember that existence is going on. i'm hoping you experience extra useful quickly. good success! :)

have u gotten the nitrate levels (different to ph)checked in the water? i had a similar problem with fish constantly dying, ph was fine, nitrate levels were sky high. Its usually a free test done at the pet shop.

You got unlucky fish. LOL sorry. You should have gotten my fish. It was a gold fish and it lived like 7 months then the cats started knocking over the lid of his tank so we took him down to a near by lake and dumped him there. I am geussing he is D.E.A.D. right now.

My cats are mad, they loved him like father/food.
LOL

if you have boys with girls, i think they fight sometimes, if your aquarium has a filter, i had exelent luck with goldfish, i have 3 in a five gallon, but make sure it has filteration. And start off with fantails, have people help u at the store. Wierd, but i recomend wallmart to buy fish from. If they survived wallmart, they can do anything. Plus, the fish i have gotten from "the greatest fishstore in the state" died after three weeks, get em from wallmart
