I'm lucky I have any memory at all anymore for some reason. It's getting worse by the year already. My memory is not unlike that of a goldfish.

I think everyone has a selective memory, they just don't realise it.
We often conveniently forget things that embarrass us.

i think i have a slight case of short term memory loss, but i remember a lot of things most people would forget.

I have chosen to block everything significant out of my life that my Dad was not a part of. He was killed when I was 12 and I can remember everything up to that point, but everything significant that has happened after that, I have blocked out. My husband thought there was something wrong with me so we went to the doctor, turns out because my Dad was so important to me, I have just chosen to block it all out.

MOst boys/men have that remember what they want to cause it only benefits them, where girls remember just about everything, the only reason we do not remember everything is cause there is not enough room for stupid things.
