American enterprise gives anyone a chance to make money. He made millions as a football player. So he was going to make millions more.

But isn't he a REAL idiot for trying something like "If I Did It"????

Can we slap him on the head and say "duh!!!"?

What a jerk.

Saddest thing is - people would have watched and bought his book.

At times a publisher controls the general content and even the title of a book which an author must agree to if he needs the contract.
OJ is a man who was thoroughly investigated, was tried in a court of law that was presided over by a fair judge and had the evidence evaluated by a jury who found him innocent of murder. He has always maintained his innocence of this deed and he wrote a theoretical book (which does not contain a confession). Money was probably the motivation in writing the book as there is a civil suit debt and a need to provide an inheritance for his children etc. The trial attorney's Cochran, Marcia and Darden wrote their own books and received millions.
A few things that the jury may have considered:
-The investigator who found the glove later committed PERJURY regarding his racist comments.
- Another investigator took a vial sample of OJ's blood from the lab and carried it INTO the crime scene.
- The glove DID NOT fit OJ's hand.
- There never was the amount of blood on OJ's body, clothes, house or car CONSISTENT with someone who had committed that crime in person..
- The murder weapon was NEVER connected to him or found.
- The jury was taken to visit OJ's house and DID NOT see a large blood trail.
- There were no witnesses to the actual crime.
- Likely the jury found him innocent because there was a LACK of real evidence to convict.
Some may disagree with the verdict but it's unfair for them to blatantly say with a certainty that this man is guilty.

No one would need to buy the book or watch the show because TV (and radio) talk shows would tell us all about it anyway.

Yeah O.J.'s a jerk, but so are the people at the publishing company who thought this was a good idea.

There's enough "jerk" to go around. OJ doesn't need to hog it all up!

He is such an idiot! It is obvious that he did it. He got off in court, so why is he still trying to convince people of his innocence?! Whether he is guilty or not, this WILL haunt him the rest of his life! The same thing can be applied to Bill Clinton, or Barry Bonds. Whether innocent or not, they will still have to live with their public "mistakes". It's all in being a public figure.

He wants money & says it's for the kids. Bull it's for him. He should fade away but won't because Americans put to much into celebrities. They all just want some type of recognition even if it's bad.

maximum athletes are not murderous psychopaths, so do no longer grimy the completed occupation consistent with OJ. And an fool? i think. besides the undeniable fact that it is greater that he's a cocky prick who thinks that the guidelines don't be conscious to him.

I don't like OJ in any way, shape, or form but he's not a complete idiot because he's using a horrible crime to make money. He did do it but unfortunately he'll never be convicted for it because of Double Jeopardy.

This guy should silently fade away and stay out of the limelight. His kids must be humiliated beyond belief.

complete idiot, but don't blame it on the people they are just curious to know if it is a confession or just another fiction book.
You cannot judge something you don't know.
