Yes, it has been scientifically proved. Different music affects your mood and thus affects your driving. The best thing to listen to is something slighly "up-beat" but not too dancy etc. Something like power ballads is good to listen to.

Of all issues i might ought to assert that temper is the #a million element in predetermining what I hear to. If i'm ticked i will many times hear to rock like Metallica. unhappy, then many times blues or something mellow like B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn or Michael Buble (the slower stuff anyhow). If i'm stressful or am in a clever/innovative temper i will hear to classical (Bach, Beethoven, Mozart). If i'm energetic or prefer to evoke i will hear to swing, pop, rock, or hip-hop (crimson warm Chili Peppers, swifter stuff from Michael Buble, and in certainty regardless of's on the radio on the time that supplies that style of music). various music to extra healthful ever temper. I ought to many human beings I hear to for each so I doubt i could desire to checklist all of them. That became in basic terms some.

yes; if you listen to soft mood music, you tend to drive slower and enjoy the drive more. If you listen to rock or fast music, you will tend to drive a bit reckless (At least that's the way music affects me when I drive)

Yeah. My bro plays different kinds of music when driving. If there's no one around he will gently sway the car side to side, or race down the dual carriageway listening to rock!

hell yeah!!!!

on my way home from work, i usually batter down the dual carriageway at the naughty side of 80 listening to rock / punk.

if my fiance is in the car, with her pop-pish tunes, i'm slow and refined,...... gimme that RAWWWWKKK any day!

both times i got done for speeding i was listening to 'space lord' by monster magnet.... one of my favourites.

for just cruising, i like Jamie T, kinda rock / hiphop / punk, the plus-44 albums pretty good too.

Most definitely!
When I'm in classical mode I'm more ladylike.
When I'm in speed garage mode I'm more boy racer and moody.
When I'm in funky house mode I'm happy and so more courteous.
And everything else is just normal. I reckon its to do with the way the base or beat affects your heart rate and therefore blood pressure!

Oh yes - it affects your mood so it can affect anything you are doing while you're listening to it! Driving, walking, exercising etc. If you want to cheer yourself up you aren't going to listen to something dreary are you?

It doesn't affect me, I drive the same weather listening to drum and bass, or a classical piece.

Yeah it does for me! I'm much more courteous when a slow song is playing and a tad of road rage when heavy rock plays!!!
