I watched "Lake House" with my friend and sister like 3 months ago. While we were watching it, we didn't really get what was going on. I mean we knew that they were writing letters to each other and living at the lake house and crap but how come they couldn't meet in person in the middle of the story? What's with the time? How come they were able to meet in the end? I'm confused. I really want to know.

They were like on different planes...they were a few years apart. That movie had good intentions....but really wasn't very good! I think Sandra Bullock is better in a comedy....or action movie. I personally didn't even get to finish that movie...it just seemed to drag on forever!

it's a movie!
Don't worry about the time set. It will never make sense because it's impossible.
The good intention got it's values. I am not a romantic film goer but i enjoyed the movie as it went along ignoring logic. They make a good couple on screen and they delivered what was asked. Good movie, good intentions, not so good plot.I've seen worse.
