What is the going rate of pay for a medical biller?

I recently started a new job. I work in the billing office in a doctors office. I'm not sure what the pay should be for someone with no previous experience. I live in S FL. everything here costs more so I assume wages are a little more. thanks

Higher cost of living doesn't always translate to higher wages. I would expect anywhere from $10 to $18. If you are inexperienced, expect to start around the lower wage end. Healthcare traditionally is not a get rich career field unless you have an advanced degree or get very lucky.
