When you have a group of human beings confined together in a stressful situation at the height of their hormonal development where they magnify their own social pressures to ridiculous levels: then you have a formula for acting out. The whole key is in an education system that can help calm the atmosphere, but that is rare in the shabby quality of our schools today.

Because kids find it funny to belittle someone. They think it makes them look cool to attack someone. They are heartless and only have insecurities inside themselves. They are crying on the inside and have to lash out in pain? I hated bullies.

Because kids have no other skill to show off with? No, seriously. I have always believed that everybody has some or other skill. Maybe we should try to find those skills in kids.
