♥I visited Las Vegas one Christmas, and even on the day itself, the casinos were pretty much in full swing! Are we trapped here, addicted to it forever? Is that such a bad thing?

Not very sure I understand your question. Trapped in Vegas or trapped in Christmas? I was in Vegas one year too and did not notice decorations except in the lobby. It was like another day.
I think it is up to the person to do what they like. I did like my visit even on Christmas as I had no other place to go that year.
I did not think it was a bad thing.
