same here... the love of my life left me and my family is all out of town...today sucks......

Yes, I'm alone for the holidays. My divorce was final in August. I diidn't think the holidays would bother me since I've had a couple of months to "heal" (yeah right) but the holidays are here and I'm thinking THIS SUCKS.

I won't be alone this time, but I'll be with someone who thinks Christmas is pointless and refuses to do anything nice.
I was alone for the holidays a couple of years ago and it really sucked. I know what it's like. Hang in there. I'll think about you, for what it's worth.

try going to a Church, Salvation Army, Marine Corps League. there are other places where Thanksgiving Dinner can be served and where there will be other people around. think of how much better off you would be if you were with others as you might be the one who helps someone else not be lonely or depressed.
