how do u know if you are a Democrat, Republican or neither?I seem to look at the laws individually and form an opinion, rather than agree with all or even most of one party's policies...
what is the politically correct term for this?

It means that you are a moderate, and congratulations! You are among the majority of Americans by not subscribing to a right or left wing fringe dogma.

Your a moderate or an independent. I'm a moderate Democrat voter but I'm willing to vote for any third party like the Libertarians if a Democrat doesn't worry about the issues I care about or maybe a moderate Republican. But if you're an independent, I want to congratulate you. You and many others can change our history in 08 if you really convince yourself. I remember hearing comments like 4 years ago that 08 will be a crucial year. INDY POWER FOR 08!!!

Independent, and you should vote for the party or party's that are closest to your beliefs. I personally align myself more closer to the democratic philosophy as I think it is wrong to give welfare to the rich and take away from the poor. That is the main reason however I have many more reasons for voting like I do. There are some moderate repuglicans that I can bring myself to vote for, but it is a real rare occasion.

Gullible, keep on learning, and when you realize that none of them can be trusted, then you'll stop supporting them, and hopefully you'll join the people that are desperately doing all that is possible to clean up our corruptament...

I would say you are an independent.

The Parties receive their money from the exact same organizations-and we see what happens to democrats if they agree with Republicans (Lieberman).

An independent.
Or an non-partisan voter.
Congratulations! It's the only way to be a true American!
