Is it a sound card or is the sound onboard (on the motherboard)?
1. make a note of the manufacturer and other details (like the model number etc). If it is the motherboard then make a note of the model number.
2. use google to find the manufactuer and look under support or download for the drivers and you'll find the correct drivers. Sometimes they also have a generic driver in the list
or you can use driverguide.com to download the drivers (you may have to register first in order to access the drivers)

goto Microsoft Website friend most of all drivers were available there or goto Download.com 99% You'll get the required one.

u should have the utilities cd for that and if u dont have the go to tur profucts site and download them from there
