It can't even detect the ShipUp Trojan (sy.exe and infrom.exe), which AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 did. So far, it's detected *nothing* on my computer. I had Brontok, RavMon... All of these were removed by AVG Free and AVG Anti-Spyware. I'm considering removing it, but AVG Anti-Spyware's resident shield can't be activated, whereas Windows Defender's active. But then again, it's never warned me of anything... Should I remove it or not? My startup's damn slow =(

It isn't!! Dump it. AVG will do a much better job as you have seen. However if you have to ask how did this stuff get on your computer to start? Do you have a firewall?? If you have a high speed connection then you should have a hardware router/firewall and also use a software firewall, I've had excellent luck with zonealarm.
run msconfig and see what is getting loaded at startup.

Because all of these programs take a good chunk of memory, its best to have the most efficiency and protection balance. Usually AVG alone works great with a good firewall and does not have a bunch of processes running in the background consuming memory.

It's not recommended to install multiple anti-virus in a PC ..
Among other things, it'll take a lot of resources ( which will slow down ur PC ) & the anti-virus will conflict .. So, instead of improving ur PC's security, it actually will make ur PC crash & it'll make the viruses to enter ur PC easier as ur anti-virus have been conflicting.

It's not, since it is only a Beta version it is not the best. Some programs that are complete, such as Norton, Kaspersly and S&E are better.
