Concentrate on the three most important things every day. Look for the absurdities in anything lower down the list and find a reason to laugh long and hard at them. Deprive things that matter little of power over your emotions. Failing that, try sculpting animals out of mushrooms....

Stress in everyday life is a major problem of this century. There is no medicine.Stress is due to way of life.If you give too much importance to too small things stress will be the result>stress is the major killer.
Cultivate friendship.Have a social life, beyond your official /personal life.Do not be self centered.Believe in the capabilities of others.Discuss your problems with your dear ones/family.Practice,yoga,meditation or relaxation. If nothing is possible hear good music, read books or pray.It may be interesting to note that reading of books/comics like Mandrake,Phantom reduces stress.Take a vocation in every year

I normally focus on one thing, getting home having a glass of wine (or 6) then chilling out with my son and my hubbie then lots of sex with hubbie before sleep
dont let the little things get u down just keep in mind the important things in your life and dont worry about the crap that doesn't need worrying about,
I get wound up at work nearly every day going out for a smoke normally calms me down and knowing that everything will be ok when i get home
Chill chick x

The power of now, Eckhart Tolle.
This book helped me, basically you have to remember that anything you are not in control of cannot and should not make you stressed, but we allow ourselves to become stressed by external forces.

this is really good and it really helps!

*lay on your back in a calm enviroment ( best on your own )
*1st tense all your muscles for 3seconds starting with your feet and working your way up to your face cheeks
*relax (5secs)
* close your eyes and think of a place that you feel safe( under a tree in a corn field) (a distant memory)
*think of a scary place ( back ally, bad distant memory )
*keep flicking from nice to scary every 6 secs
* breath deep breaths for 20 secs and then see the nice place again

I like to repeat this catch phrase over and over till I feel better. I think its called a mantra or something. You have to choose one that means something to you. I say "La belle dame sans merci" because I have speech problems but when I say that I feel like a normal person.

Try getting more sleep...

Exercising and releasing endorpins...

Having a good cry while listening to sad music (I do this, its quite sad really!)

Get a punching bag, or dart board.

Lighten your workload

Go and have fun!
