The date of concept may be around the time you ovulate. in the experience that your final cycle began on 4/28 and additionally you run 28 to 30 days then you somewhat maximum in all probability ovualted someplace between day 12 and sixteen or 5/9 to 5/12. Implantation might have handed off 7 to 10 days after ovulation, 5/19 to 5/21. you could or will possibly no longer have observed some recognizing as a consequence of implantation this is typically a brown or pinkish shade. You conceived in could someplace around the midsection of your cycle. the beginning factor of your being pregnant and the factor from which they calculate your due date is the 1st day of your LMP. this is the place they get the count style of 4W/2d from. Doctors use a simple calculation: a lady will deliver 9 months and 7 days after the first day of her last menstrual period. In other words, the calculated date when you conceived is within half a month starting 24th June. (you conceived during ovulation of your last mestrual period, which generally takes place between days 12-14 of your cycle). So 12 to 14 days after 24th June is 6th to 10th July. *Disclaimer* This is not 100% accurate. If you want certainty, amniocentesis may provide certainty of paternity.

If you have been given the 2nd April as your due date, then according to the book (I have looked), the first day of your last period must have been on the 26th June. Add approximately 14 days on (this is when you ovulated) and that would the day of conception. I make it the 10th July. Hope this helps and eliminates any worries your partner may have.

Count backwards 9 months. In other words 22 Apr, 22 Mar, 22 Feb, 22 Jan, 22 Dec, 22 Nov, 22 Oct, 22 Sep, 22 Jun. That is your nine months. Now count 7 days back. Which will give you the 26 July. How do I know? I went for my first scan yesterday and that is how my doctor explained to me how they and the sonar machine work out your due date.

Hope it helps you out.

Good luck!!!!

In theory, on or around the 2nd July.

that said, ultrasound scans estimate the number of weeks based on foetal size at the current time, meaning a large foetus will be estimated as being more weeks than it is, with the converse being true of a small foetus.

It is normally not possible to tie conception down more accurately than within a couple of weeks unless you only had sex once in that time.

Technically it should be end of June,
But you don't count back to the last time you had sex you count to the last period you had during that time, ultra sound tests are accurate to the first day of your last period you had before you got pregnant.

so just do the math:
You should have had the start of your last period: wed 28 June (But strangely this isn't the accurate time when you were pregnant its only when u had your period,
i don't think there is a way of ever knowing the date when you conceived).

Just reassure your boyfriend and let him know you love him and have not cheated. explain to him how the doctors work out the age of the baby, it isn't when you had sex but when you had your period.

count back 280 days (40 weeks or 10 months according to pregnancy calendars) and you will get an estimated time. it's estimated because they base your date of conception on your cycle which is not always accurate.. sperm can live for 36 hours in the body so "conception date" is a relative time.. if it's causing that much confusion you should seek medical assistance in solving the confusion.
