He likes to wear women's clothes... More precisely, he has a NEED to wear women's clothes, and he doesn't understand why. He probably has been hidding his fact from this family and friends and you're the first person he's opened up with this problem.

Okay, here's what really happening. When he wears women's clothes his brain releases a series of neurotransmitters that produce a feeling of well-being, sexual gratification, and self-fulfillment. These neurotransmitters are the same chemicals that are associated with addiction responses in all sorts of compulsive activity.

He can try to stop but its nearly impossible. He must try to control his crossdressing or it will control him. The cross dressing will get worse and worse. At some point in his life he may create a female alter-ego, give it a name, and fall in love with his "female side". In order to gain some control on this you will work with him to create a set of rules: examples: (1) He cannot wear your clothes without permission. He should have his own clothes. (2) He cannot associate with other cross dressers - they will only encourage him to go off the deep end. (3) Identify what specific articles he considers the focus of this obsession, and that's all he should have. (4) He is never to dress in public, in front of your children, relatives, friends, etc.. And he is to control it, it is not to control him.

Remember, this is like alcoholics, you have to work on this day by day,,, everyday. This isn't all bad. On the other hand you will find that he is a good shopper, and pays attention to what you wear, and knows something about what looks good. He will still be a good husband, father, etc.. You could have a lot worse things to worry about.

My mother is a goose-dresser, which means she has these big concrete geese in the yard that she dresses up for different holidays and stuff.

Right now one is dressed as a pilgrim and one as a turkey.

So I assume your husband has a collection of little outfits he likes to put on a cross.

Seems like it'd be hard to make clothes that would look good on a cross.

Hi! If my husband were to dress like a woman i would be totally pissed off!!! Reason being if he wants to cross-dress then he obviously finds other guys attractive, that would leave me feeling in adequate and depressed. i would be very angry with him as he shouldn't have been so selfish and marry me and allow me to fall in love with him if he knew that he enjoyed something that i didn't approve of. i am not against gay relationships BUT when it involves my husband i would be furious. you take care, gooduck!

If he simply does it from time to time, there's really no harm. It is probably a stress-relief for him, and it doesn't mean he's gay. Be open and accepting and discuss it with him to find out how it helps him.

That you could go to the women's department and buy both a gift for him and something for your self. :)
There are times when you just have to keep on the bright side.
