If you work near Singapore on an oilrig will the companies pay to send you back stateside for your family?

If so how long can you stay with them? Is there some sort of rotation?

Don't worry. They will take care of everything including home leave. Rotation is based on your contract with them. No hard and fast rules. Asian employees get worst terms than Americans. The American Expats community helps each other out. Keep your humility and do not behave like colonials.
