We know that some times people get blindfolded for various reasons, like when someone got kidnapped and was put in the trunk with eyes blindfolded. I'd like to know if blindfolding harm one's eyes. If yes, why and how? Please share with me what you know. Thanks a lot for your input.

p.s. I'm asking this question concerning the aspect of health.

Simply blindfolding of the eyes won't harm them unless the blindfold is put on so tightly that it actually presses down hard on the eyes rather than just covering them. But consider how often eyes are bandaged and covered for medical reasons to allow them to heal from injuries. There's no harm in simply covering the eyes, as long as care is taken not to press on or compress the eyes themselves. Many people use a mask over their eyes to sleep, in fact, if they cannot darken their rooms completely.

Blindfolding always hurts my toes for some reason.

Maybe I should quit trying to walk around with the blindfold on.

i don't see how, unless the blindfold is pulled so tight that it would physically damage the eye ball. but that would have to be pretty tight to get past the eye sockets

In the aspect of health:
Yes it will cause harm:
Blindfold a person, sit them down at a Turkey feast, put a fork in their hand and watch what happens.
P.S. Don't put the gravy boat in their hands.
