My tank is only 10 gallons so it can't be anything big. I already have 2 zebra danios and they seem like the only type that will live for over 2 months. I've had all types of tetras, fancy guppies, cory cats, angelfishes, and several others but they all die. I really don't want to have a tank with just the zebra danios.

PS. I do all the proper aquarium maintance that I need to.

Thank You

Can you get those fishes that have those eyes that look upward all the time?

another choice, goldfish last a long time, but the clog and clutter up the filter faster. Biggest poopers!

Goldfish are coldwater fish and won't do well mixed with tropicals. Guppies used to be considered the ultimate hardy fish, but so much inbreeding has been done to achieve the "fancy" variety that they are now quite delicate fish. Try four or five Harlequin rasboras and a male betta, add a couple of otocinclus catfish (they eat algae but stay small)

I like gouramis...... and how did your cories die? they r sooo easy... but you have to feed them catfish pellets. maybe yours starved...? did you feed them? you should have atleast 4 cories together, or else they stress out... they r very social... was that the problem? try getting 4-6 cories and FEED THEM catfish pellets... also try a few female bettas... either 1 or 3 cuz 2 will fight...

Try gouramis. ALso when you go to the petstore ask for hardy fish that won't dye.Try some barbs maybe they are a little aggressive but i heard they are pretty hardy.
