Yep. That's it. Unless you are me and then I have a predetermined number in mind before I measure. :)

If you are a male, then yes. If you are female you, measure about an inch above the navel where your natural waistline is. I'm female and if I was to measure around my belly button, I would be measuring around my hips! HTH : )

I'm not totally sure. I think it's at the same height of your navel.
