Happy Thanksgiving to You ! Sorry to say this but "social drinkers" don't drink to get drunk. Kiddo, you need to have a face to face with that lady you see in the mirror.

If you are smart you will not get "drunk". When you are drunk you will be out of ocntrol YOu said you want and need to be drunk. There must be some problem at this party. If you loose control you will most likely end up looking like an idiot. Be smart and just drink enough to be a bit numb.

I used to be your size, actually a bit shorter and lighter but I would think about 2 to 3 shots of hard alcohol and hour would do the trick. Alcohol hits women harder then men , reacts with the setrogen. Or one large glass of wine an hour.

You shold know, be able to judge by how you feel. A warm glow is good, slurring and clumsy is bad.

It not only depends on your weight but also on the way your liver works. I mean if at any time you have had liver trouble you can get sick not only with alcohol but with almost anything with fat. On the other hand, you say you do not drink very often so it is very likely for a person like you to get drunk with the half of alcohol a person habit to drink would be.
I am like you are and if I drink i would be dizzy with either three beers or two glasses of wine, and drunk with six or four glasses of wine, so it wouldn't be expensive lol.
But be careful, when you are not habit to drink you don't know how you would act and you can finish either being the clown of the family or you can turn into an annoying talkative person or my favorite just so waste that you will end vomiting on the floor, your outfit and YOUR HAIR.
Be careful and have fun,but please don't become the joke of the party.
LOL

Well, if you eat a lot, you probably won't feel the effects of the wine. So if this is truly your goal, I would drink some wine before eating to get a buzz, then just kind of nibble on food so as not to lose it. Just kind of maintain it by drinking slowly, hope you don't get nauseated.. Also eating something as you go will help reduce the severity of a hangover.. Happy Turkey day..
