I met this men on the plane in May this year. H e was sitting next to me. He was talking too much and I tried to put some headphones on just to get away, but every now and then he will tap my shoulder and tell me something. We exchanged numbers and at first we would just say hallo and whats the weather like but after a few months we sought of became quite fond of each other. The rest is history! Is it wrong?

an old lady once warned me "once you go to prunes, you'll never go back to grapes"

so i would say be carefull, unless he is filthy rich, then go for it, it might be an adventure.

I really don't think it's wrong. That is unless he is married/has a partner! You will certainly encounter some sceptisism from family /friends because of the age gap, but this quite often passes with time if they can see that he makes you happy. And meeting him and seeing that he's a lovely chap will help too! The main thing is that you are compatible and fulfill and enhance each other. Age is only an issue if you make it one! Of course, if you have children together, it's likely that he wont have a hell of a lot of time with them (he may live for another 40 years!!) but if you're happy to take that chance (Des O'Connor has become a dad in his 70's) then all the best for you. It would be a shame to throw away a chance of happiness because of what other people think!

Love is love no matter what the age right? Society has lead us to believe that an age gap like that is sick and morally wrong but if you love each other and think there is something there then just go with the flow! You could get hit by a bus tomorrow and be thinking what if about a lot of things. Don't let him be one of them.

MAY?

In August you posted a question asking if it was OK to go out with a guy 6 years younger than you.

You either

a) Have severe problems making your own mind up on if someone is right for you, SOMETHING WHICH ONLY YOU TRULY KNOW (AND THERE'S THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION BEFORE ANYONE REPORTS MY FOR NO A QUESTION OR ANSWER), preferring the opinions of strangers

or

b) Are only posting on here to get attention

It's hardly wrong ... just a little unusual is all ... you're old enough to make your own decisions ... if you feel attracted to this man, it's your life ... play it for all it's worth ... if it leads to bigger and better things great ... if it fizzles out in a few months ... they may well be an amazing few months .... time will tell
Good Luck

My mum used to say "the older the fiddle, the better the tune" Go for it, have fun, better to be an old mans darling than a young mans fool.

you can't help who you fall for...I personally wouldn't advise it for a number of reasons such as when he's 90 you'll be 61 and still have a few years ahead of you, especially when you're in your prime, but if you like it go for it....if you love this man then your relationship is worth fighting for, good luck
