Go to a few doctors and see what they have to say. The procedure that they were doing 20 years ago is radically different from how it is done today. Insurance often doesn't cover reversals either.

For what it is worth his body is still producing sperm it just stays in the body breaks down and is passed out as waste, just like if you are an unmarried mormon.

hi, 'silverokie19', Is 0.5 good, adult men do produce sperm, they by no ability supply up however the sperm isn't ejaculated because of the fact the availability tubes have been decrease, tied and many times stapled. the opportunities of a vasectomy reversing itself are just about none existent. 'skinpro' After a vasectomy you go with for exams, after a month and from time to time lower back after 3 months, just to envision the vasectomy has worked ok. the opportunities of a organic reversal are minuscule. If I had of had a vasectomy and then became a father i may be off like a shot to have it rechecked. on your chum and her husband to have 3 toddlers i may be susceptible to ask her who the fathers are!! pass

It can be reversed, but the likelihood of pregrnancy with a gap above 15 years is under 30%. http://www.vasectomymedical.com /vasectomy-reversal-success-rates.html

You can get him re-plumbed. The downside is that the body may not recognise the sperm and send anti-bodies to reject it, killing off all of the stuff that you want. I don't know, but I should imagine that you can still harvest the sperm, via a big needle in the nads and going the IVF route. Worth investigating.

i am pretty sure that after that long it is almost impossible to ever make it "normal" again. but it wouldn't hurt to look up doctors that do that procedure and ask them. i am saving to have a tubal reversal and it has been over 4 years and my doctor i will be going to said that there is no time limit for me. good luck

It can be reversed. Talk to your GP.
